Sega Picks Up 3 New Heroes
Buy up those superhero licenses while you still can. Because of course with the current trend we know every hero under the sun will receive their own feature length film movie. Sega has purchased the license rights to Captain America, the Incredible Hulk (Who is getting a second shot at the first horrible attempt at a movie) and Thor. While I am not so sure any of the heroes will actually preform in the box office, Sega is hedging their bets on it.
Video games are an ideal medium to showcase the appeal and excitement of our Super Hero franchises. SEGA is one of the industry’s most innovative game developers and we are thrilled to partner with them to bring Captain America, The Incredible Hulk and Thor to the video gaming arena. These franchises represent three of Marvel’s most popular characters and lend themselves to captivating game play.

This is all because of the X-men/Spiderman films.

This news sucks … I wanted another IHUD game for next gen from Vivendi … they really nailed the last Hulk game … I just know Sega is going to screw this up royally. I just no longer trust them when it comes to developing games.
