CNET’s Must Have List

CNET has put up their top ten must have gadget list, and unsurprisingly some consoles have slipped into the mix. The consoles in question however are Nintendo’s DS lite debuting at spot number 7 for it’s “sleek capabilities, great games, and cheap pricetag.” All features CNET finds compelling when they say, “It’s time to look past the Sony PSP.” But there is a home console that makes the list two, snagging the number one position; the Wii.

The Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 may be the only boxes in town for hard-core gamers, but the Wii gets all the bonus points for mass appeal. Nintendo’s generation-transcending console is in high demand, thanks to its revolutionary motion-sensing controller and fun titles.
