Former developers from EA Canada who have previously worked on five Need for Speed titles, five FIFA titles and three James Bond titles, have teamed up to form a new studio called Jet Black Games. They’ve set up some licensing with Warner and Disney/Pixar, but they are also interested in developing some new IP’s as well. They will be focusing primarily on developing games for both Nintendo DS and Nintendo Wii. No titles have been announced yet, but it will be exciting to see what comes from this studio, or like other studio attempts, will quickly fade away. CEO Roger Freddi had this to say about the new studio:
“These recognised licensed properties serve to ensure that Jet Black is a name to affiliate with Nintendo games, and nicely complement the original IP on which we’re working.”
