E3 2007 Exhibitor List Revealed

Those who are attending this year’s E3 Media & Business Summit in Santa Monica have gotten access to the list of exhibitors at the event. Yes, the event will be small, consisting only of the platform holders, major publishers and a few independent developers and peripheral manufacturers. The list is referred to as a “complete listing of Participating Companies”, implying that there will no more additions to it.

Pariticpating companies include major publishers such as EA, Capcom, Microsoft, Midway, Sega, SCE, SOE, Square Enix, THQ, Ubisoft, Codemasters, Konami and the usual suspects. The only independent developers at the show will be id Software and Foundation 9 Entertainment; accessory manufacturers Logitech and Nyko will also be present. At last count, the list contains only 32 companies, paling in comparison to last year’s one which exceeded 400.

The event will be held on July 11-13 at an exhibit hall in Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar, as well as company-run demonstrations in nearby hotel suites. Third party press conferences will be held in a common location, with platform holder conferences being organized by the three behemoths themselves.
