PSP Price Cut in Europe

April 23rd, 2007 by Rajiv Ashrafi in Business, PSP

sony_psp-01.jpgIn a welcome move, Sony has reduced the price point for PSP, which will retail for £130 (EUR 170 in the rest of Europe) starting May 4; retailers are expected the cut the price further. The reduction follows the price cut in US, and can be seen as the company’s move to battle the dominance of the Nintendo DS.

The company also announced that it has added five titles to its Platinum range. Gamers in the region can now expect to pick up Killzone: Liberation, LocoRoco, MotoGP, Ridge Racer 2 and Tekken: Dark Resurrection for £15.
