acGame publisher Activision has announced record sales of $313 million for Q4 2006 and $1.51 billion for the entire fiscal year, the highest in Activision’s 28-year history. The success is mostly due to the success of Call of Duty, Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero. Sales of PS3 software were also higher than expected, especially in Europe.

They expect fiscal year 2007 sales to reach $1.6 billion. This makes them one of the biggest third party publishers in the U.S., second only to EA, of course.
