Final Fantasy: Dissidia Details

It turns out Final Fantasy Dissidia for the PSP will not be an RPG as previously suspected. In fact, Square-Enix is taking a leap of faith and developing a fighting game which will be featuring characters spanning their whole realm and collection of Final Fantasy. It sounds like a great project, which certainly has a lot of potential. Will it live up to other brawlers, such as Super Smash Bros.? Probably not quite, although I could be wrong. It will, however, be loads of fun to pit some of your favorite characters head to head, and see who reigns supreme in the Final Fantasy world. If this game has any thing Dragon Quest related in it, expect it to be sold out everywhere in Japan in milliseconds.
