Mistwalkers second RPG effort on 360, Lost Odyssey, is already drumming up attention. In an attempt from Microsoft to gain a piece of the Japanese pie, they’ve elected Mistwalker to developer a string of RPG’s aimed at the land of the rising sun. IGN recently gained some information about the project, which they have learned from a Microsoft employee, that the game is alreday 70% completed.
In a Japanese translation of Famitsu, they have learned a variety of things about the upcoming game. Such as the team is already started into the fine tuning portions, such as bringing down load times and balancing issues. While the camera will be fixed, realism will be encouraged through different techniques such as the camera shaking. The interesting thing learned about the battling system is that the game uses battle formation, magic attacks will naturally be the most powerful, but the weilders will be protected by a front line to absorb the damage.
