PSP Sees Massive Increase in Sales
Following price cuts in the UK, Sony has seen sales of the PSP go up a massive 60 percent. Now available in the country for £130 for the basic pack, the “new price point opens up a new wave of consumers to the PSP experience,” said Sony’s sales director Andrew Howsen. “The price realignment was about passing on manufacturing cost savings to customers,” he added.
The PSP has recently seen strong additions to its stable, including Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, GTA: San Andreas Stories and more. Also, who can forget the selling power of God of War, eh?
