Sega Porting Ghost Squad to Wii
In what can only be likened to an Ubisoft move, Sega admist all their games, is porting a game to the Wii. But before you swear is off completely, this game is not natively found on the PS2, but instead in arcades. Ghost Squad is a light gun Sega game currently found only in arcades, but with their announcement they plan on translating the game over to the Wii. It’s be hotly debated how a light gun game would be handled on the Wii. While in theory all it would take is some calibration for shooting accuracy. Of course, this is merely in theory, I’m certain there are some technical hurdles that first need to be overcome. The game could also play with a reticule, but that might take some of the immersion out of the game.
Keep a close eye on this project. Even though it’s a port, it’s likely most of us have never even heard of, let alone played this title.
