Halo 3 Release Date Set
Xbox 360 owners, mark your calendars. Bungie and Microsoft have announced that Halo 3 will be shipping on September 25 in the U.S. and September 26 in Europe. Halo 3 will be released just before the crowded holiday 2007 season, where GTA4, among others, will hit the stores. Microsoft’s Peter Moore had this to say about the release:
“Halo 3 is much more than a video game release; it’s the biggest entertainment event of the year. On September 25, we intend to deliver a finale that will go down in entertainment history and leave people around the world with an experience that will be shared and enjoyed for years to come.”
In case you forgot, the Halo 3 multiplayer beta kicks off later today, where selected players will be able to test the game. The beta runs for three weeks.
