Sony has acquired Sigil, developer of the recently released MMORPG Vanguard. The news was was brought by Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) President John Smedley, who posted on the station.com message boards. According to him, some Sigil employees will be laid off, while others will be merged into SOE. You know, the usual stuff that happens when companies get bought by bigger companies.

Wow, there is so much drama going on over the situation. There are a few interviews at f13 (just search in google) involving Brad (head CEO) and one ex-sigil employee was interviewed as well. Really makes you wonder what the heck was going on over there for 4 years.
