Fans of Geometry Wars, the XBLA launch title may have to look elsewhere to get their next fix. Geometry Wars is being developed for both the Wii and DS as a full-fledged title. While the original Retro Evolved will be included in the deal, the game will be receiving some serious upgrades in a single player mode. Both titles will be created ground up utilizing the Wii and DS touch screen. The game will also feature a multiplayer mode. Furthermore, the title is being handled by the developed of Battalion Wars, meaning it is sure to receive proper treatment. If handled correctly, this could easily be a hot new title which may be a must buy for the more casual gamers compared to the Big Three. The game is expected this Fall, expect to hear more as well as whether the game will receive budget pricing in the near future.
