I actually don’t mind the fact we are missing E3 right now. It seems like everyday there is another *insert company name here* day. Today happened to be Ubisoft’s turn to bat, and being one of the largest third party developers in North America, it’s not something to miss.

First up to bat is the new and improved Sam Fischer. Splinter Cell is headed in a new, more character driven direction. Sam ditched the tights and goggles for a more rustic look.

Assassin’s Creed is this years big new IP for Ubisoft, with the way things are looking it may also be one of the biggest software selling titles they make this year. In reality, Assassin’s Creed was created to fill a niche, that being Price of Persia which will lay dormant for the next little while.

Finally Settlers, it looks to be an equally good game, but in my opinion, it’s missing a little Catan!
