JoWood in Negotiations to Develop Gothic 4

With Gothic 3 out, JoWood is now focusing on getting another entry done in the series. The publisher has confirmed that it is in negotiations for the development of Gothic 4 on PC and consoles with various studios, though it is yet to come to any understanding. They have not come to terms with Pluto13, the previous developer, so their collaboration has come to an end.

The company has been pushing to get its titles on current-gen platforms, and Gothic 4 is included in this push, too. The company mentioned that its strategy is to release the game on current-gen consoles, as well as accommodate it to the communities’ comments and fan requests.
