Well, at the very least it should be more logical than The Sims movie, right? Variety Asia reports that Double Edge Entertainment has picked up the movie rights to the King of Fighters series. According to the report, the movie will be directed by Hong Kong action helmer Gordon Chan.
The rest of the article talks about how BenQ and the Taiwan government are involved in the movie, alongside Hollywood movies such as Smother and The Heaven Project. The movie is also being backed by Japanese shingle Micott & Basara and sales agent Arclight/Easternlight as co-producers.
The movie has no release date yet and has no cast attached yet.

1KING OF FIGHTERS MOVIE PLUS TEKKEN MOVIE.
Gordon Chan is making a movie based on King Of Fighters series with Axis Entertianment and Double Edge Entertainment producing the film.
Crystal Sky is working on Tekken movie and they nedd to change things with screenplay and director,Dwight Little is directing and he must leave and Alan McElroy,Mike Werb and Micheal Colleary should leave the screenplay as well,Ronny Yu should direct and Chris Chan or any Asian screenwriter who has played Tekken games should write the script with Charles Stone.
A Japanese production companies should work with Crystal Sky ans Gaga Communications (another Japanese film company)on the Tekken film and the story will be based on Tekken 1 and Tekken 2.
King Of Fighters and Tekken movies are in development and more news coming soon.
Thanks.
