Epic Denies Gears For The PS3

After game site N4G posted (registration required, for some lame reason) rumors about Gears of War possibly coming to the PS3, Epic’s Marc Rein flat out denied the rumor, saying:
This story is complete bull****. I emailed the site and asked them to take it down. We’re very happy with our relationship with Microsoft. If it weren’t for them Gears wouldn’t be the huge hit it has become.
Gears of War has sold millions of copies and is still remains one of the most popular games on Xbox Live. Microsoft reportedly spent $40 million on the marketing campaign, which, judging by the success of Gears, worked out very well. Epic recently released the first paid map pack for Gears of War, with another planned for release later this summer.
