$25,000 Mod Making Contest

Following on the heels of a reality show, GameFlood has announced a new mod and map making contest that will see $25,000 in awards and prizes given out to the winners.

Open for submission till July 16, the contest will see game developers create add-on content for a variety of games including FEAR, UT 2004, C&C3, Starcraft and Battlefield 2, and many more. The community will vote from July 2 through July 16, with the final award selection by industry judges taking place between July 16 and 23. The prizes will given away in various categories including Best FPS Multiplayer mod, Best RTS Multiplayer Map, Best RPG Mod and many other categories, with the prizes being $3000, $1000 and $500 for first, second and third prizes, respectively.
