Sonic 2 Coming to Wii/360

Once upon a time there were two Japanese companies duking it out using their mascots - Sonic and Mario - two of the most loved characters ever created, gaming or otherwise. It feels good to know that Sonic (the Hedgehog) will be back beside his Italian counterpart on the Xbox 360 and Wii in the form of Sonic 2, most probably one of the best platformer of all time.

According to GWN, the classic game has been rated “E” by ESRB for release on the Xbox 360 and Wii as part of Xbox Live Arcade and Virtual Console services, respectively. However, the date still eludes us, though such goodness, hopefully, shouldn’t be far away.
