A demo for FASA’s Shadowrun is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace, offering a peek at the multiplayer shooter. The demo features one map, PowerStation, and limited races, tech and magic. Gamers will be able to play both against bots and in public matches.
Additionally, an informational video and support line for Shadowrun, created by Rooster Teeth, can now be seen on the game’s website, Xbox Live, as well as a couple of other websites.

I played the demo and while I agree this is fun game I cannot believe anyone in their right mind would pay a full $60 for this title … it is just not polished, having only four different character models, 12 maps 3 of which are smaller versions of 3 existing maps, 3 gametypes, and NO sp campaign or even a simple tournament ladder. Yeah there are bots but that is no substitute for some kind of campaign, even a short one.
When people buy this game they send the devs the message that they can get away with selling half a game to us for full price. This would be a really good game if it would have been priced as a budget title as they originally said it was going to be … but they “changed their minds” (lied) and decided to see just how far they could push the envelope. What a rip.
