Suggest Songs for Rock Band

Aptly titled peripherals-based rock band simulator, Rock Band, is now accepting songs for inclusion in the game. It is not yet clear whether suggested songs will actually be included in the final game, though it can be expected that popular songs will be taken from the suggestions list.

Why do they always go for crappy unknown bands, why not get some better lesser known bands like Isis, Dir En Grey or Opeth?

Incubus, and yes, more classic (pre-70s) rock, 50s and 60s, would be excellent….but my advocacy is for SPINAL TAP AND TENACIOUS D! Weeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiriirrrrrrrrrr! (that’s the sound of an electric guitar shriek).
Benatar might be nice for the ladies too.

I think you need to add a little Def Leppard in there. Would be fun to see if anyone can do better than that one armed drummer.
I also think you should add some Motley Crew and Guns N’ Roses. It would make it so fun. I would pay 10 bucks a song from those bands.

Everybody has their fav songs and many are great. How about hard, “unknown” songs just so people are not bored with all favorites?
There should be at least a few unknown ones just to keep people interested on what song it is.

Santeria by sublime. The bass is pretty wicked if you listen closely and the drums seems pretty easy. vocals would be cool too, it’s an all around fun song to play.

we need more known songs, songs from ac/dc, def leapard, joan jett, van halen and even fleetwood mac. try and use the most popular songs and it should sell out.

Rock band needs more Classic Rock bands like Dire Straits, Eagles, and Rush. Not to mention more metal bands like Iron Maiden, In Flames, and Death.. That would be most fun and challenging
