Those looking for the next big Nintendo made racing title on the Wii may still want to hold out for Mario Kart (likely coming in 2008-2009). Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is what it is. A port of a Gamecube game originally built for use of the bongo attachments. Fortunately the bongos can still be utilized with the Gamecube ports, but the peripheral device may be hard to come by. I’m actually a little surprised the game didn’t get canned in the transition. Long gone are the Rare software days of the SNES and N64.

The Wii controls seem a bit sub-par at best. Although you could probably get pretty used to it, it won’t be the most accurate method versus tilt control or even an analogue stick.
