When you’re as big as EA, with countless labels, IPs, and development studios, things tend to get a bit complicated, which is why EA needed some restructuring. Today EA announced that it will reorganize into four labels; EA Games, EA Sports, EA Causal Entertainment, and The Sims.
The changes will happen over the next few months, but for the average gamer, there’s not much change, it’s still the same old EA, for better or worse. Last year EA had revenues of over $3 Billion, making it the largest game publisher in the world.
