Halo Action Figures Coming

McFarlane Toys is working on a series of action figures based on the Halo series. To be available in Spring 2008, the action figure lineup consists of Master Chief, Brute Chieftain, Cortana, Jackal Sniper and Grunt; they are also working on a three vehicle line-up which includes Warthog, Ghost and Brute Chopper.

“Halo is one of the top video game franchises of all time,” says McFarlane Toys CEO, Todd McFarlane. “We get to put our company’s touch on a sci-fi epic that is visually and thematically stunning. Through its game-play, Halo has been able to attract a very large and loyal audience, most of whom happen to be our customers as well, which makes this an excellent partnership.”

Master Chief, everybody’s favorite armored ass-kicking dude, will stand at 5 inches tall, and will have more than 18 points of articulation. Other figures will be similar configured, though a tad bit shorter, except for the Brute Chieftain, which will stand one inch taller than Chief himself.
