Sony Clarifies 380 PS3 Games

June 22nd, 2007 Posted in PlayStation 3, Rumor, Software by Brian Lockhart

Sony just a few days ago announced the 380 upcoming titles for the PS3, which will all be released this year. It doesn’t take a math whiz to know that things just don’t add up. Even the most optimistic lists, or even the lists of every single game we knew about paled in comparison to the 380 they were claiming. Like all good things Sony, there was a catch, and the news was interpreted in the wrong way.

Sony has now corrected the statement letting us know out of the 380 titles, 145 will be released in the US. As a further breakdown, only 105 of those will be actual retail titles, 40 will be Playstation Network games.
