Metroid Prime 3 Update
June 25th, 2007 by James Hyde in Action, FPS, Multiplayer, Online, Wii
Play magazine had a chance to check out a near-final version of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for the Wii. They had the impression that the Wiimote controls were better than the usual dual analog controls, and that an “Advanced” setting will make the Wiimote “super-sensitive”. They also mentioned that the environments are a lot bigger compared to the previous editions, and that it will feature higher resolution textures, bloom lightning, and other eye-candy.
They end up by saying that Metroid Prime 3 could be the biggest FPS revolution since Halo, not that Halo was that big of a revolution to begin with. Metroid Prime 3 ships this holiday season on the Wii.

Masterchief = Robot
Look at his suit. Total robot. Mech even.

Every time I’ve seen someone see Samus for the first time, their reation is always “is that a Bionicle?”. And by the way, Halo is huge. I’m definitely excited for this game though, far more than for Smash Bros.

Quartecks: I agree. This is also my most anticipated title yet on the Wii. I wonder if it will feel just as perfect as the first Prime. Most polished game to date, even more than the best Zelda titles

My one complaint is the many small rooms. I like huge open environments.
