In a somewhat daring move, Affinity Media bought WoW database site Wowhead for a reported $1 million. Wowhead, one of the most popular World of Warcraft sites on the web, is now part of Affinity Media, the same company behind the notorious IGE site, which sold WoW goods online for real money. Affinity Media is investing heavily in WoW sites and communities, as it now owns the three most popular and most visited ones, Wowhead.com , Thotbott.com , and Allakhazam.com.
