Soul Caliber IV Features Online Play

It’s not the most shocking news ever, but it something that was a little bit questionable still. We don’t yet know much about the return of the Soucalibur franchise, apart from a few key characters receiving *ahem* upgrades. The fourth title is set for both the 360 and PS3 and thanks to their now established franchises, lead director Katsutoshi Sasaki says the game will now be fully playable online.
“What’s changed this time round is that the next-gen platforms have network infrastructure already in place,” says Soulcalibur IV Director Katsutoshi Sasaki. “We’ve heard from fans that they really want the game to be online, so we figured that, with the current environment, we really couldn’t make SC4 without online play.”
