After Resident Evil 4’s huge critical acclaim for the Gamecube, a lot of fans were up in arms when the follow up would not be coming out for the Wii. Of course, it wasn’t too long before the Wii gained some major momentum, and surely Capcom started regretting the decision. While Wii owners won’t be receiving the numbered sequel, we can expect Umbrella Chronicles shortly. Unfortunately, when it was unveiled the game would be an on rails shooter the reaction was certainly mixed. However, lots of good press has been trickling down, and hopefully the new trailer will do some convincing. Will it beat out RE4? Probably not, but it could easily be a mid 8 to even low 9 rate title.
