Smash Bros Not Playable at E3
July 2nd, 2007 by Erich Jurgens in Action, Wii
Nintendo has confirmed that there will not be a playable version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl at E3 this year. Nintendo stated that they want to have a small, more concentrated game list at the upcoming, downsized E3.
Interestingly enough, it seems like this list of theirs includes several secret “never-before-seen” games that will not only be announced, but it’s been confirmed that they will be playable too.
Of course AAA titles are exactly what the Wii needs. Hopefully these new titles will appease fans enough to take their mind off of the fact that Smash Bros. wont be playable. Nintendo also confirmed once again that Brawl would be definitely making its launch window of 2007. We can at least hope that Nintendo gives us a more specific launch date than just 2007 at E3.
