Last time we reported on the monthly Japanese sales charts, the Wii outsold the PS3 5:1, this time, it’s 6:1. Yep, the Wii managed to sell 270,974 consoles, compared to 41,628 PS3s sold. The Wii was outselling the PS3 4:1 in April, 5:1 in May, and now 6:1 in June. Will we see a 7:1 ratio in July? Certainly, provided that Nintendo can ship enough of them. But it’ll still be hard, as there are several key PS3 titles launching in Japan this month. We’ll see what happens. By the way, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 sold just over 17,000 units last month.
