Ninja Gaiden Sigma Ships

Having sent shockwaves around the Xbox community when first announced, Tecmo’s Ninja Gaiden Sigma has been shipped to stores exclusively for the PS3. The game features the iconic ninja Ryu Hayabusa slicing and dicing thorugh 50 missions and 19 chapters; it also features Rachel the Fiend Hunter as a playable character.
“Ninja Gaiden Sigma is the game we’ve been waiting for since the rebirth of the franchise. Complete with HD graphics, lightning-fast gameplay, and a more robust storyline, Sigma is the definitive version of Ninja Gaiden to own,” says Yoh Watanabe, Tecmo Marketing Manager. “Gamers returning to the series will enjoy Sigma just as much as those new to the world of Ninja Gaiden.”
Sigma is presented in 1080p and will let players upload their Karma scores and stats to the leaderboards on the PlayStation Network. There is also a Collector’s Edition of the game available only at GameStop. It offers additional content including a secret code to access unlockable missions and the Team Ninja documentary “Behind the Sword,” which offers an in-depth look at the lifestyle of the development staff during the final days of the development process.
