
Since the day it was announced, fans have been speculating on how the control scheme for the next generation Super Smash Bros. title. Since it was to be released on the Wii, skeptics thought it would change the way we played Smash, and abandoning the traditional gameplay aspects of the game. When Sakurai revealed that you could play the new game with not only the Wiimote, but also the Gamecube controller, fans rejoiced
Today, on the official website, a new post concerning the controls has been unveiled. From the looks of it, the controls seem extremely similar to that of its predecessor, Super Smash Bros. Melee. Attacks can be done in the same fashion as it has always been done. The only problem I see from this is how pro players are going to wavedash or do other techniques with just the Wiimote, excluding the nunchuck. You can do a full read on the article here.
