Medal Of Honor: Airborne Delayed For PS3
July 6th, 2007 by Brian Lockhart in Business, Online, PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox360
Through a trailer released back in April, we learned word that forthcoming title Medal of Honor: Airborne would be releasing August 28th for what we assumed was all hardware involved. However, in a press release talking about the composer for the series was buried away (why do they always feel the need to hide these things?) that the PS3 version would be releasing sometime in November. Oddly enough, the delay only applies to the PS3, and not for the 360 or PC, which remain on track. This will give the 360 a marginal timed exclusive on the upcoming title.
There remains no word on what is causing the delay, whether is be some extra cash from Microsoft, or development problems experience with the PS3. While not a full exclusive, we do know timed exclusives, especially when unchanged on the secondary console, will certainly hinder sales somewhat for the unfortunate second option. So it looks like the PS3 will be entering E3 on another low note, nowhere to go but up, right?
