New Smash Bros. Map: Bridge of Eldin
July 6th, 2007 Posted in Action, Multiplayer, Wii
The DOJO has been updated once more. This time the new entry is a new level – the Bridge of Eldin, from The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess. As you can see, the level looks stunning for a Smash Bros. level; the sunset is perfect, and pays true homage to the vast land of Hyrule as portrayed in Twilight Princess.
The hook to this stage is King Bulblin and Lord Bullbo entering the level and causing havoc amongst the players, creating a hole in the center of the stage. Players that are not quick enough to quickly jump to the sides of the stage will plummet to a watery Lake Hylian death; although the bridge replaced in time by the Sci-Fi-like portals from the Twilight Princess game.

This map looks freakin’ awesome except for the parts where they break. I just want a plain terrain map like Final Destination.

Yeah I agree it looks great. I just hope the hole in the center doesn’t remain open for too long, it could get weird fighting only on two corners of the map.
I wonder if you’d be able to jump from one side to the other.

I’d imagine so, but hyrule temple has always been my favorite from Melee.

Hyrule is great.. The bottom section, where everyone bounces around instead of dying is pretty kool sometimes.
