Confirmed: Katamari Cancelled On PS3
There have been a lot of rumors floating around lately about the status of Beautiful Katamari on the PS3, but apart from folks with well-placed sources, no official word has yet come down from Namco Bandai. That is until this weekly addition of Famitsu, which confirmed the PS3 version is cancelled, while the game will remain on the Wii and Xbox 360. While the news is depressing for PS3 fans, at least Namco has given an honest answer for the cancellation. The reason being: programming problems encountered on the PS3. Apparently the PS3 has more than just cash to worry about when it comes to losing exclusive titles.
In rumor territory, some feel a stripped down version of the game could still be a possibility on the PlayStation Network. Nothing official there, so don’t get your hopes up too much. It looks like once exclusive Katamari can no only be experienced on competing consoles. In other news, Peter Moore has completely run out for space on his bodies for tattoos.
