Heavenly Sword Demo Coming “Very Soon”

PSU reports that a demo for Heavenly Sword is in the pipeline and will hit the PlayStation Network in the “very near future.” This comes from Mat Hart, head of production of the game at Ninja Theory, who also states that they are going to “cram the retail release with as many extras as the developer could fit into Blu-ray.” He also addressed the possibility of a special edition of the game, though given the quote I don’t think a special edition would be necessary.

Quite unsurprisingly, he also addressed a sequel to the unreleased game. “The story of the Heavenly Sword was developed with a much longer arc in mind than just a single game,” he says. “In the event that the demand for a sequel is great enough the next ‘chapter’ will be very exciting indeed!”

According to a previous post, the game is almost complete right now and is currently going through bug testing. It will be out for the PS3 this September.
