Retail Week: The Calm Before The Storm

July 10th, 2007 Posted in Nintendo DS, Online, PC, PSP, Software, Xbox 360

If we weren’t on the doorstep of E3, I think we’d all be calling fowl with an awful week of gaming drought. Perhaps the wise publishers realized this week instead we’ll be glued to our screens for news, instead of video gaming. Of course, if you really don’t care (but obviously you do, since you are reading this), there are a few meager selections to choose from.

Well, one selection. Project Sylpheed is the only title that might catch your eye. It’s an interesting looking space shooter. It’s also quite the departure for Square Enix, I’m not sure if that will wind up being a good thing or a bad thing however. But don’t fret, Square Enix is still pumping out the RPG’s, seeing as every system is getting their spin offs, and maybe if they are lucky a numbered sequel.

Xbox 360:
Project Sylpheed: Arc of Deception

PSP:
Smash Court Tennis 3
Riviera: The Promised Land

DS:
Vegas Casino: High 5

PC Games:
Jewels of Cleopatra
Sword of the New World: Granado Espada
