Unreal Tournament Only On PS3/PC In 2007

July 11th, 2007 Posted in Action, E3, FPS, MMO, Multiplayer, Online, PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360

Unreal Tournament will be a PS3 exclusive, just as Jack Tretton said during the Sony press event, but he didn’t mention that it was coming to the PC as well, in 2007. Xbox 360 owners will apparently have to wait until next year.

Unreal Tournament 3 will ship with a map editor for the PC version (as expected), and PS3 owners will be able to download and play maps and mods that PC players have made, which is pretty cool, to say the least. There wasn’t any mention of cross-platform play (PC vs. PS3 players), and it’s unlikely that it will happen (otherwise they would show it off by now).
