Apparently not all of the news these days has to be directly from E3. Reminding us that it is still there, Smash Bros. Dojo is chugging along with another daily update. Correction, it’s technically two updates, instead of copping out and just throwing up the release date and video, they were ever so kind to reveal Donkey Kong as a playable character.

I’m almost certain they have a few big characters they are holding out on to wow us with, and it’s kind of funny none of those appeared this week given E3, but it’s nice to see Donkey Kong will be rejoining us. Is it just me or does every character they reveal look a little more badass then their usual appearance. It seems like they’ve ditched a bit of the bubble gum look that most of these characters have when appearing in titles like Mario Party, and have gotten a bit darker. Or maybe that’s just because they are actually putting forth some effort and we are seeing more character detail! Either way, I’m happy; December 3rd couldn’t come any sooner!
