July 12th, 2007 Posted in Hardware, PSP, Technology

Sony announced yesterday a new PSP, a slimmer and lighter PSP. But that’s not all, according to Joystiq, who had a word with Sony regarding the new PSP. Apparently the new portable has added more RAM to it, speeding up load times and increasing battery life, to around 8-10 hours, according to Sony.

The new PSP is 33% lighter and 19% slimmer, and will retail for $199 in September, including Star Wars: Battlefront Renegade Squadron.
