E3: Pikmin Likely Coming To Wii

Shigeru Miyamoto pretty much confirmed that Pikmin for the Wii is going to happen.

“I certainly don’t think we’ve seen the last of Pikmin. I definitely would like to do something with them, and I think the Wii interface in particular is very well suited to that franchise.”

The quote is pretty self-explanatory. It’s safe to say that Pikmin will make an appearance on the Wii eventually. That said, Miyamoto makes it sound as though it isn’t in the works yet. This could, of course, be just because of some clever wording. We haven’t seen the 2008 Wii line up yet, and Nintendo will be at the Tokyo Game Show this year, so chances are this will likely show up again soon.
