E3: PS3 Getting Rumble?

The shake-less controller may not be so vibrationally challenged for much longer. Immersion, the company who holds the patent for the rumble technology that game controllers generally use, issued a press release announcing their intention on licensing their technology to third party peripheral developers, Hori, and Katana - the latter will be releasing rumbling controllers for the Playstation this September. If a third party developer can do rumble, then certainly Sony can, so expect a first party advancement in this area, eventually.
