E3: New Zelda in the Works

In a private interview with Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aunoma at E3, discussion for Super Mario Galaxy was originally planned. Although, Aunoma couldn’t help himself from revealing more about his new project; Zelda. He explained that the latest Legend of Zelda game for the Wii will be influenced by the ease of control found in games such as the Phantom Hourglass, so an entire new control scheme and setup could be revealed. Miyamoto ordered Aunoma not to reveal too much, so the details are scarce. The key bit of information unveiled was that this new Zelda game would appeal to both hardcore and casual gamers. No information about the story or time line were mentioned, either.
