New SIXAXIS Revealed?

Quite visible on the LucasArts website, an image is present portraying a different type of PS3 controller that isn’t exactly what we’re used to. This could be a leaked preview of the new SIXAXIS to be revealed sometime later. The main difference that is immediately noticeable is that the D-Pad has been switched with the left side of the analog stick.

It is hard to say if the controller is real; there was no official announcement from SCEA. Although, there have been rumors about a new version of the SIXAXIS to include force feedback. This could just be the new design of that rumble controller. What sets this aside from other controller mock-ups is that this specific image was found on a major video game developer and publisher’s website. There has been no response from Sony as of yet.

    No, this is old and it was confirmed that it was photoshopped(not by sony of course).
