Sony Denies Rumble

In response to the several rumors about a possible rumble SIXAXIS controller, SCEA has stated that they have no plans to release a product like that.
“The SCEA employee referenced in Kotaku’s story stated that he had read in the news that third parties are working on a controller with rumble for PS3. His comments were taken out of context.”
Well, that settles that. But that doesn’t completely out rule the possibility that the feature may be added sometime in the future.
