A Surprise Is Coming

Lots of E3 interviews with big Nintendo exec’s can only mean one thing, a few slips have to occur, slips that we can potentially look forward to. While talking about the new Mii based channel, the Spike TV correspondent asks Reggie about any major announcements. Reggie responds a surprise is coming (presumably a new channel given the context of the conversation) and that it should hit by the end of September. Things have been quiet recently on the channel front for the Wii. Initially it seemed like we could expect a channel a month, but shortly after new channels have all but dropped off. What could the new channel possibly be? Reggie feels it’s a big surprise, so time to start speculating.
