No Xbox 360 Pricecut for UK

August 1st, 2007 Posted in Business, Xbox 360 by Brian Lockhart

Sometimes it feels like those European neighbours of ours get no love. While both Japan and North America get their own titles in the territories first, Europeans often are left waiting the longest of the three markets. Of course, pricing and import costs have many of the consoles historically higher priced than other markets as well. Now, as Americans finally get their pricecut, hopefuls in the UK have received a nice slap in return.

“We’re very happy with where were at the moment and have no plans to make any changes at this time,” was the official line.

Of course, Microsoft still has yet to officiate the North American drop either, but with the physical proof not available in the UK, could they be overlooked? One way or another, price drops are a certain eventuality, and with the current amount of time the 360 has been released, it’s only a matter of time before all regions receive price reductions.
