Red Faction 3 Announced

During a recent conference call to investors and analysts, THQ CEO Brett Farrell announced plans of continuing the Red Faction franchise with the third installment. No further details were revealed, but the game is most likely in early stages of development, with a possible 2008 release.

Read Faction was release back in 2001 on the PS2, and received great reviews. The sequel, Red Faction 2, was released a year later, and was a rushed experience overall, being simultaneously released on the PS2, Xbox, GameCube and PC.
