We have already been treated to a handful of tracks to look forward to, for upcoming Guitar Hero 3. Once again Activision has let us in with some more songs you can expect this October in the final version. They are:
Miss Murder (by AFI)
Through Fire and Flames (by Dragonforce)
Number of the Beast (by Iron Maiden)
3’s and 7’s (by Queens of the Stone Age)
Suck My Kiss (by Red Hot Chili Peppers)
Raining Blood (by Slayer)
Reptillia (by The Strokes)
Paranoid (as made famous by Black Sabbath)
Cities on Flame (as made famous by Blue Oyster Cult)
Mississippi Queen (as made famous by Mountain)
La Grange (as made famous by ZZ Top)
The heat is really on between Guitar Hero and Rock Band, each trying to outdo the other. Inevitably, it’s us the end user that benefits. Of course, the success Guitar Hero has had mainstream has opened up quite a few more opportunities to obtain those really high profile tracks. Personally, I can’t wait to rock out Through Fire and Flames, although I’m sure I’ll be sticking fair away from hard knowing the song.

3Awesome, they actually listened when they gave me a survey about what songs you would like in GH3, I replied with Reptillia by the strokes, and now they got it.
